Mars Ambassador Program (MAP)

The Mars Ambassador Program (MAP) gives Mars associates the opportunity to show their personal commitment to making a difference to people and the planet.

FLING® Marketing Manager Annette Aitkenhead participated in a MAP pilot in Ghana focusing on reducing acute malnutrition and waterborne illness. During the five-week program, she helped a community install backyard gardens and plant a variety of fruits and vegetables to improve nutrition in the community.

Annette also left her mark on the community using her marketing skills to create a model called the “healthy eating tripod,” featuring the recommended daily intake of grains, protein, fruits and vegetables.
